The Beeswax Barter is an offering that encourages the collection of beeswax scraps, candle drippings, and leftover wax for recycled candlesticks.
Please note that I accept pure beeswax only, and unfortunately cannot take bleached wax, dyed wax, pellet wax, scented wax, wax blends, or white wax.
Here’s how it works:
Collect 8 ounces (0.5 pounds) of pure beeswax. The beeswax can be in blocks, scraps, candle drippings, or leftover wax. Eight ounces of beeswax equates to two twelve-inch taper candles.
Purchase the number of submissions that corresponds to the amount of beeswax collected. For example, if you collected 16 ounces of beeswax, you would purchase 2 submissions.
All submissions are subject to a $5.00 fee, which contributes to the administration of the program as well as the handling and processing of the beeswax.
Once purchased, I will email you to schedule a drop-off of your beeswax at the studio, and when your tapers are ready, I’ll email you again to coordinate a studio pick-up.
