Beeswax Barter

The beeswax barter is an offering that encourages the collection of beeswax scraps, candle dippings and leftover wax for recycled candlesticks. Here’s how it works:

  1. Collect eight ounces (0.5 pounds) of pure beeswax. The beeswax can either be in blocks, as scraps, candle drippings or leftover wax. Eight ounces of beeswax equates to two twelve inch taper candles.

  2. Purchase the number of submissions that equates to the amount of beeswax collected. For example, if you collected sixteen ounces of beeswax, you would purchase two submissions.

  3. All submissions are subject to a $7.50 fee, which contributes to the administration of the program as well as the handling and processing of the beeswax.

  4. Once purchased, I will email you to schedule a drop off of your beeswax at the studio, and when your tapers are ready, i’ll email you to coordinate a studio pick-up.

Please note that I accept pure beeswax only and unfortunately will not take bleached wax, dyed wax, pellet wax, scented wax, wax blends or white wax.
