Trim the wick, burn with care, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
Pure beeswax may develop a soft, white, shimmering surface finish over time. This is called bloom, and it is a reliable marker of the quality and integrity of the wax.
Bloom arises through a natural process in which the softer oils rise to the surface. Bloom has no effect on how a candle burns and it can be easily removed by gently buffing the candle with a soft cloth. Or leave it be and enjoy the bloom. Bloom is beautiful.
